Q: What types of freight can carriers haul for Superior? Superior works with carriers across all modes. In addition to full truckloads, we offer carriers many different options. Sometimes shippers do not have enough freight to completely fill your truck, or a less-than-truckload (LTL) shipment. In cases like this, we can help you identify opportunities to fill as much of your truck as possible. Some shippers may also choose to move through both railroad and trucks, also known as intermodal shipping. For carriers, this means picking up or dropping off loads at rail yards instead of directly at the shipper.
Q: What freight opportunities does Superior have for different types of certifications? As a 3PL, Superior can connect you with a variety of freight opportunities that match your certifications and equipment. For carriers with a HAZMAT certification, we can also connect you with freight containing hazardous materials. Interested in moving more specialized freight? Talk to your Superior rep today.
